Lucia | Oval parti sapphire engagement ring

Defined by its clean lines and refined proportions, this sapphire engagement ring features an oval centre stone in a minimalist solitaire design, handcrafted to order in our Sydney studio in your choice of 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum.

This design was originally created with a 1.45ct natural Australian parti sapphire, displaying distinct colour zoning with a vibrant interplay of blue, teal and yellow tones, with flashes of green.

As with all natural parti sapphires, each stone displays its own unique interplay of colour and cannot be replicated. The design can, however, be recreated with a centre stone of your choice.

Each custom ring begins with the careful selection of a centre stone, sourced to align with your preferred size, specifications and overall aesthetic.

Set low to the finger in a refined four-claw setting, the design allows light to enter the stone from multiple angles while maintaining a soft, balanced profile. A fine knife-edge band at the top transitions into a gently rounded shape, ensuring the centre stone remains the focal point.

Simple and elegant, this engagement ring is designed for comfortable everyday wear and pairs beautifully with fitted wedding bands, such as the Mia curved diamond ring, or a bespoke band created to complement its proportions.

Customising your sapphire engagement ring

This design can be custom made with a centre gemstone of your choice, including sapphires, natural or lab grown diamonds, morganite, spinel, aquamarine, ruby and other gemstones, in 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum.

The original design featured a 1.45ct oval Australian parti sapphire measuring 7.6 x 6mm.

Production time and ordering

Each ring is made to order in our Sydney studio. Production time is approximately 5–6 weeks from confirmation of your design.
