This freeform Australian teal sapphire from Queensland is defined by its step-cut facets and elongated, organic shape, displaying soft teal tones with subtle flashes of green.

Its asymmetry and unique proportions give the stone a distinctive, sculptural quality, making it an ideal centrepiece for a bespoke design.

This sapphire lends itself particularly well to an east–west solitaire, a toi et moi, or an asymmetric design, where its natural form can be expressed to its fullest. It would also translate beautifully into a pendant.
