This pear cut blue sapphire from Sri Lanka displays a rich medium blue tone, with a bright, luminous presence and excellent lustre.

Well proportioned and full of life, the stone has a lively brilliance, with its elegant teardrop shape giving it a refined and graceful character.

As with all natural sapphires, each stone is entirely unique and cannot be replicated.

Its elongated, directional form lends itself beautifully to designs such as a toi et moi, a diamond halo setting, or a refined claw setting, where its shape and colour can be fully expressed.
