This pear cut Padparadscha sapphire from Sri Lanka displays the delicate lotus-flower tones for which these exceptionally rare sapphires are treasured.

Certified unheated and full of life, the stone has a bright, luminous presence with excellent lustre, while its elongated pear shape gives it an elegant and expressive character.

As with all natural Padparadscha sapphires, each stone is entirely unique and cannot be replicated.

Its proportions lend themselves beautifully to designs such as a refined claw-set solitaire, a toi et moi ring, or a diamond halo setting, where its extraordinary colour and graceful form can take centre stage.
