This pear cut blue sapphire from Sri Lanka displays an enchanting interplay of vivid cornflower blue and lighter blue tones, creating depth and movement throughout the stone.

Well proportioned and full of life, the sapphire has excellent lustre and a bright, luminous presence, while its elegant pear shape gives it a refined and expressive character.

As with all natural sapphires, each stone is entirely unique and cannot be replicated.

Its elongated proportions lend themselves beautifully to designs such as a diamond cluster setting, a solitaire ring, or a diamond halo setting, where its colour and graceful form can take centre stage.
