Graceful and contemporary, this asymmetric sapphire and diamond necklace is handcrafted to order in Sydney and designed to celebrate the individuality of its centre gemstone. Inspired by the sense of lightness, freedom and flight, the original design features a kite-shaped Australian blue sapphire paired with a round brilliant cut white diamond, suspended asymmetrically from a fine chain for an elegant, contemporary look.

Each necklace is individually handcrafted and can be recreated using your choice of natural sapphires, diamonds or coloured gemstones, allowing you to create a truly personal piece that reflects your individual style.

Customising your necklace

Every Lizunova necklace is handcrafted to order and can be crafted in white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum, and personalised with a wide range of gemstones, including Australian, Ceylon and Madagascan sapphires, natural or lab grown diamonds, emeralds, rubies, tourmalines, tanzanites and many others.

Whether you'd like to recreate the original design or create something entirely bespoke, we'll guide you through the design process to create a necklace that's uniquely yours.

Materials and specifications

This asymmetric sapphire and diamond necklace is handcrafted in your choice of white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum, and set with natural gemstones selected specifically for you.

The original design featured a kite-shaped Australian blue sapphire weighing 0.64ct, paired with a 3mm round brilliant cut white diamond, 0.11ct, F colour, VS clarity, suspended on a fine Italian made 18k white gold chain. The sapphire pendant measured 12 × 6mm, with a chain length of 43cm, adjustable to 40cm.

Production time and ordering

Each necklace is handcrafted to order in our Sydney workshop and is not available for direct online purchase. Production time is approximately 5 weeks from confirmation of your design.
