Defined by its clean lines and distinctive orientation, this diamond engagement ring features an east–west set marquise cut centre stone in a contemporary solitaire design, handcrafted to order in our Sydney studio in your choice of 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum.

This design was originally created with a marquise cut salt and pepper diamond, displaying intricate natural inclusions that give each stone a unique, organic character. As with all salt and pepper diamonds, no two stones are alike, but the design can be recreated with a centre stone of your choice, such as a sapphire, a natural or lab grown diamond, or another gem.

Each ring begins with the careful selection of a centre stone - sourced to align with your preferred tone, size and overall aesthetic.

Set low to the finger, the design offers a comfortable, understated profile ideal for everyday wear. The horizontal orientation of the marquise cut creates a minimalist silhouette, while allowing the character of the centre stone to remain the focal point.

Elegant and refined, this engagement ring pairs beautifully with straight or fitted wedding bands, including styles such as the featured Anna and Pia diamond rings, or a bespoke band created to complement its proportions.

This design can be custom made with a centre gemstone of your choice, including salt and pepper diamonds, natural white, champagne or black diamonds, sapphires and other gemstones, in 14k or 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum.

The original design shown here was crafted in 18k rose gold and featured a 0.63ct marquise cut salt and pepper diamond.

Production time and ordering

Each ring is made to order in our Sydney studio. Production time is approximately 5 weeks from confirmation of your design.
