Defined by its strong geometry and refined Art Deco inspired details, this sapphire engagement ring features an emerald cut centre stone framed by structured diamond accents, handcrafted to order in our Sydney studio in platinum and 18k rose gold.

This design was originally created with an exceptional 5.47ct emerald cut cornflower blue Ceylon sapphire, displaying a vivid yet velvety blue tone of exceptional depth and beauty.

As with all natural sapphires, each stone is entirely unique and cannot be replicated. The design can, however, be customised and include a centre stone of your choice.

Each custom ring begins with the careful selection of a centre stone, sourced to align with your preferred size, specifications and overall aesthetic.

A pair of baguette and cadillac cut diamonds is set into the shoulders, their clean, angular lines enhancing the structured geometry of the centre stone. Round brilliant cut diamonds are set in fine, hand-cut French pavé along the band, adding a continuous, refined sparkle that complements the overall composition.

The contrast of cool platinum with warm 18k rose gold claws introduces subtle depth and dimension, drawing the eye toward the centre sapphire while complementing its colour.

Elegant and sculptural, this engagement ring offers a contemporary interpretation of the timeless Art Deco style, pairing beautifully with both straight and fitted wedding bands, or a bespoke band created to complement its proportions.

This sapphire engagement ring is handcrafted in your choice of 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum (shown here in platinum with 18k rose gold claws), and set with natural gemstones selected specifically for you.

The original design featured a 5.47ct emerald cut cornflower blue Ceylon sapphire measuring 12 × 7.8mm, complemented by baguette cut diamonds, cadillac cut diamonds, and round brilliant cut diamonds set in hand-cut French pavé along the band, total diamond weight 1.26ct, E colour, VS clarity
