Bella | Cornflower blue sapphire & diamond halo engagement ring

Framed by a delicate arrangement of diamonds, this sapphire engagement ring features a pear cut centre stone in a refined half-halo composition, handcrafted to order in our Sydney studio in your choice of 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum.

This design was originally created with a vivid cornflower blue Ceylon sapphire, displaying a luminous, velvety blue tone. As with all natural sapphires of this nature, each stone is entirely unique and cannot be replicated.

Each ring begins with the careful selection of a centre stone - sourced to align with your preferred colour, size and overall aesthetic.

A half halo of natural white diamonds in pear and round shapes surrounds the centre stone, enhancing its brilliance while maintaining a soft, balanced silhouette. The combination of diamond shapes adds subtle texture and movement, drawing the eye toward the sapphire’s colour and depth.

Elegant and expressive, this engagement ring offers a contemporary interpretation of a classic design, with a refined and romantic character.

Designed to sit comfortably on the hand, this ring pairs beautifully with both straight and fitted wedding bands, or a bespoke band created to complement its proportions.

Customising your sapphire engagement ring

This design can be custom made with a centre gemstone of your choice, including sapphires, natural white, champagne or black diamonds, lab grown diamonds and other gemstones, in 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum.

We will guide you through selecting a sapphire aligned with your preferred tone - from soft pastel blues to deeper royal blues - and overall design direction.

Materials and specifications

This engagement ring is handcrafted in your choice of 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum, and set with natural gemstones selected specifically for you.

The original design featured a 1.7ct pear cut natural vivid cornflower blue Ceylon sapphire, complemented by natural pear shape and round brilliant cut white diamonds, E–F colour and VS clarity, with a total diamond weight of 0.32ct.

Production time and ordering

Each ring is made to order in our Sydney studio. Production time is approximately 5–6 weeks from confirmation of your design.
