Ella | Sapphire & diamond engagement ring

Defined by its bold centre stone and refined detailing, this sapphire engagement ring features a round green sapphire in a contemporary solitaire design, handcrafted to order in our Sydney studio in your choice of 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum.

This design was originally created with a 3.5ct round unheated green sapphire of African origin, displaying rich, saturated green tones with a lively, luminous depth. As with all natural sapphires of this nature, each stone is entirely unique and cannot be replicated.

Each ring begins with the careful selection of a centre sapphire, diamond or another gemstone of your choice - sourced to align with your preferred colour, size and overall aesthetic.

The four-claw setting offers both security and openness, allowing light to interact with the sapphire while maintaining a balanced, elegant profile. Six round brilliant cut natural white diamonds are set into the band, adding a subtle, refined sparkle that complements the centre stone without overwhelming it.

The original sapphire measured 8mm in diameter, and the setting sat around 8mm above the finger, giving the ring a confident yet balanced presence.

Designed to sit flush with a straight wedding band, this ring pairs beautifully with styles such as the Anna diamond wedding band, or a bespoke band created to complement its proportions.

Customising your sapphire engagement ring

This design can be custom made with a centre gemstone of your choice, including blue, parti, yellow, pink or peach sapphires, natural white, champagne or black diamonds, lab grown diamonds and other gemstones, in 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum. Materials and specifications

This sapphire engagement ring is handcrafted in your choice of 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum, and set with natural gemstones selected specifically for you.

The original design featured a 3.5ct round unheated green sapphire, complemented by six round brilliant cut natural white diamonds, F colour and VS clarity, with a total diamond weight of 0.08ct.

Production time and ordering

Each ring is made to order in our Sydney studio and is not available for direct online purchase. Production time is approximately 5–6 weeks from confirmation of your design.
