Sofia | Parti sapphire & diamond engagement ring

Balancing colour and softness, this sapphire engagement ring features a round centre stone framed by pear-shaped diamonds in a refined trilogy composition, handcrafted to order in our Sydney studio in your choice of 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum.

This design was originally created with a natural Australian parti sapphire from Queensland, displaying a sought-after interplay of blue, green and yellow tones. As with all natural parti sapphires, each stone is entirely unique and cannot be replicated. The design can, however, be recreated with a centre stone of your choice.

Each ring begins with the careful selection of a centre stone - sourced to align with your preferred colour, size and overall aesthetic.

A pair of pear-shaped natural white diamonds is set into the shoulders, their soft curves enhancing the brilliance and colour of the centre sapphire while creating a balanced, elegant composition. The design offers a contemporary interpretation of a classic three-stone ring, with a refined and timeless aesthetic.

Elegant and considered, this engagement ring is designed for comfortable everyday wear and pairs beautifully with both straight and fitted wedding bands, including styles such as the Anna diamond wedding ring, curved Mia diamond wedding ring, or a bespoke band created to complement its proportions.

Customising your sapphire engagement ring

This design can be custom made with a centre gemstone of your choice, including parti sapphires, Ceylon blue, pink, champagne or yellow sapphires, as well as natural white, champagne or black diamonds, lab grown diamonds and other gemstones.

We will guide you through selecting a stone aligned with your preferred colour palette and overall design direction.

Materials and specifications

This engagement ring is handcrafted in your choice of 18k yellow, rose or white gold, or platinum, and set with natural gemstones selected specifically for you.

The original design featured a 1.31ct round Australian parti sapphire measuring approximately 6.5mm in diameter, complemented by pear-shaped natural white diamonds, F colour and VS clarity, with a total diamond weight of 0.36ct.

Production time and ordering

Each ring is made to order in our Sydney studio. Production time is approximately 5–6 weeks from confirmation of your design.
