Heat treatment is a common and accepted practice in the sapphire industry to enhance colour and clarity. The vast majority of sapphires on the market today are heat-treated. This treatment is permanent and stable, and it does not diminish the value or durability of the gemstone. We are transparent about any treatments our sapphires may have undergone, and we only work with stones that have been treated to internationally accepted standards. Untreated sapphires are extremely rare and command a significant premium.

Our bespoke engagement rings are typically completed within five weeks. Custom rings generally take 4–12 weeks depending on complexity, gemstone sourcing and production method. If you're working towards a proposal date or special occasion, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your timeline where possible.
