Whether you arrive with a clear vision or simply the desire to create something extraordinary, our bespoke process is personal, collaborative and thoughtfully considered. From discovering the right gemstone to refining every detail of the design, we’ll guide you through each step to create a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects your individuality and what matters most to you.

Step 1: PERSONAL CONSULTATION

Every commission begins with a conversation, either at our Sydney studio or virtually. We'll explore your ideas, inspirations and what you'd like the piece to represent, creating the foundation for the design.

Step 2: ETHICAL GEM SELECTION

We'll curate a selection of exceptional natural gemstones chosen specifically for your commission. From sapphires, diamonds and emeralds to rare spinels, tourmalines, alexandrites and other remarkable gems, we'll guide you through their individual qualities to help you find the stone that speaks to you.

Step 3: DESIGN COLLABORATION

Working closely with you, we develop and refine the design around your chosen gemstone, personal aesthetic and the story behind the piece. Detailed visualisations allow you to consider every element before the design is finalised.

Your finished piece is carefully inspected, beautifully presented in our signature packaging and ready for collection from our Sydney studio or complimentary insured delivery within Australia or internationally.

Can you source rare and exceptional natural gemstones?

Yes. Exceptional natural gemstones are at the heart of our bespoke work. We source remarkable sapphires, diamonds, emeralds, rubies, spinels, opals and tourmalines, as well as rare collector gemstones including Paraíba tourmalines, alexandrites and tsavorites.

We work with a trusted network of gemstone suppliers and lapidaries in Australia and internationally, allowing us to source unusual and exceptional stones for individual commissions. Each gemstone is considered for its beauty, colour, cut, rarity, provenance and character, with a carefully curated selection presented according to your preferences, design and budget.

How do you select gemstones for bespoke jewellery?

We look beyond carat weight and conventional specifications to consider the qualities that make an individual gemstone exceptional – its colour, brilliance, cut, proportions, rarity and, above all, its individual character.

Every natural gemstone we offer is personally handpicked, and we'll guide you through the differences between individual stones so you can understand what makes each one special and choose the gemstone that resonates most with you.

Can you redesign inherited or sentimental jewellery?

Yes. We can reimagine inherited or sentimental jewellery into a contemporary piece while preserving the elements that hold personal meaning.

Existing gemstones can often become the starting point for an entirely new design, allowing the history and sentiment of the original jewellery to continue in a piece that reflects your own style and can be worn and enjoyed in everyday life.

We'll assess your jewellery before beginning and discuss what can be safely and successfully incorporated into the new design.

How much does bespoke jewellery cost?

Every bespoke commission is individually quoted, as pricing depends on the chosen gemstone, precious metal, complexity of the design and craftsmanship involved.

We'll discuss your preferred budget from the outset and recommend gemstone and design options accordingly. Once the direction of your commission has been established, we'll provide transparent pricing before proceeding.

How long does bespoke jewellery take to create?

Most bespoke pieces are completed within approximately five weeks once the design has been finalised. Particularly complex commissions or the sourcing of rare and unusual gemstones may require additional time.

If your piece is being created for a birthday, anniversary or another significant date, please let us know when you enquire and we'll advise you on the appropriate timeframe.

Do you work with bespoke jewellery clients outside Sydney?

Yes. We regularly create bespoke jewellery for clients throughout Australia and internationally.

Consultations can take place in person at our Sydney studio or remotely via phone or video, supported by detailed gemstone photography, videos and design visualisations throughout the process. Once complete, your jewellery is securely delivered via complimentary insured shipping.
